Dear HSG Community,

In the coming months, we aim to expand the Communications Working Group by adding a new Communications Chair and one general member. The purpose of the Communications Working Group is to facilitate communication with both the HSG and broader scientific communities. We strive to provide updates on our progress, information about upcoming events, opportunities for involvement in the HSG working groups/meetings, and other news.

Role of Communications Working Group Members
Communications working group members have the opportunity to support these efforts by writing and disseminating educational information about hippocampal subfields and the MTL on our social media platforms (e.g., X, BlueSky, and YouTube), other communication outlets (e.g., podcast/interview style videos and yearly newsletters), and our website which currently serves as the main hub of information about our group, its activities, members, structure, etc. Working group members are also welcome to suggest additional ways to connect and communicate with the HSG community.

Participation in this HSG working group is ideal for those interested in developing science communication skills. If you are interested in learning more or participating, please email hippocampalsubfieldsgroup@gmail.com by December 1st. For specific details for the Communications Chair position, please see the detailed description below.
