Protocols and Sample Data

We provide here a single subject’s MRI dataset at reasonably high resolution to provide a common dataset on which to compare different protocols for subfield segmentation. Labeled datasets were formatted using a common scheme and served as the basis for comparison and discussion at the HSG meetings.

Please see the documentation for information about the imaging data included in the evaluation dataset, segmentation formatting requirements, and deadlines. The full dataset can be downloaded from here. You will first be asked to sign in and register for an account.

At the August 2014 HSG meeting in Irvine CA, we put forward a vision for developing a harmonized segmentation protocol. The document below outlines the steps towards harmonization. Here is the white paper. It has been followed by several collaborative publications listed below.
